The whole "victim can't speak so we can't charge" is the most trash thing I've heard and that's saying something when it comes to KCPD (who once again are the only major city with state appointed board so no real local accountability)

i could *maybe* understand if there wasn't a perfectly plausible reason for why the victim was there. but in this case there is, because of the mistaken address and picking up siblings.

i'm not to a point of casting stones at KCPD, yet, and am hoping they are just crossing all the T's right now. but they need to move quickly.

Can you explain that more about KCPD in regards to state appointed board?  How did they manage that and not St Louis PD?

STL got rid of it in 2012 by a vote but looks like the state is trying to take back control. The whole thing goes back a long time of the state overseeing city police forces, not sure  exactly "why" except things like local fraud from Pendergast era?

Yeah.  It was to free the local please force from corrupt local influences.  Outdated and unnecessary anymore.

Yeah, that makes some sense for that time, but not anymore

It's gaudy and overwrought, perfect for the NFL.

Wonder how much $$ the people from Independence who will 300 level it up from Liberty Memorial will spend, cause that seems a lot for them to make it to $100 mill

Those colored windows at the back are the actual Union Station windows so from TV defiantly be able to see US architecture. I think?

I understand why they're doing it that way, but it really does take away from the beauty of that spot. I'm still optimistic it will look good on TV.

Sir, this is the nfl draft.  It’s not intended to be a showcase of union station.

Do you understand why they need a stage that large? Because I do not.

It's probably so the backdrop of the city doesn't distract from the tv broadcast.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.
