it’s really awesome that they picked such a great location with the beautiful backdrop of the historic architecture of union station and that their giant stage is going to conceal the entire front facade of the station.  great job to everyone involved.

at this point there’s zero reason to have it happen at union station, might as well have it at any random field in olathe or some other indistinguishable location

So this thing is outside?

I suppose it would have to be, because the acoustics inside Union station are absolutely awful.

Makes me wonder why they didn't just do it in the Midland or Sprint Center.

It supposedly attracts a crap ton of people. I have no idea why. Vegas it was back behind by the High Roller in a parking lot. Nashville it was down broadway I think. Dallas it was outside Jerry Dome.

I wonder why they do a massive in person event at all. It seems so dumb

My mom has a former coworker/friend coming to visit her in kc. Because of schedules she needs to only plan one day of activities. She really wants to show this bay area lifer that kc/kansas/the Midwest isn't a bunch of hillbilly bigots. Any suggestos? I thought maybe a show at missie b's would be fun but those might start too late.

it is quite amazing they have made the draft a thing to go to. I'm volunteering for it, shocked how many volunteers they were looking for, I think it had to be like a 1000 people.

What changed that they moved it away from New York?  1965-2014 then it got turned into a traveling road show.

Why kind of insular human existence drives one to think that people in points beyond their little world are all hillbilly bigots?

How sad

Scheduling conflicts with the original venue, and the event had out grown radio city

The stage is open in the back, so Union Station will be visible (according to renderings).

My buddy lives in the crossroads across the train tracks from union station so I'm planning on going to the draft with him on friday just to check it out. Will probably be there about 30 minutes then go hit up some breweries.

I'm interested to see who these SUPER NFL FANS are that would actually travel for a draft.

Please issue your report here, after. But no matter what, I'm glad the visitors will get to enjoy some screwdrivers and ravioli in the new terminal.

One condo I was looking at (and already someone is on it) is right in that area
