I'm terrified that these stud cats and stud legendary head coach bill stud snyder have gotten my expectations too high. I know what we have back on defense. I see our limitations. But I still won't be happy with 7 wins. Seems like I should be. It's a scary feeling.

yeah, that's a hard cutoff line for me as well. some of the others are more vague. like, how stud did we look getting to 9 wins? that could put it into super excited mode if it's very stud and the young guys look stud and the defense looks more stud than expected.

i naturally tend to be negative in regards to sports teams expectations, so take that into consideration.  but i see 9 being the ceiling for this team, with 7-8 being realistic.

I always get super nervous about UT, superior athletes, this is the year they finally kick our face in, etc etc BUT IT NEVER HAPPENS.

You probably go through something similiar every day when you wake up next to your supermodel wife, at first you dont believe it but then it keeps happening EVERY DAY even though you know she could totally be banging brad pitt or something. Eventually you just have to accept that THIS IS REAL LIFE.

I'm opposed to murdering innocent college kids because of reckless behavior involved with tradition. I'm not opposed to making up championships to put on display.

A 7 win season with a first year starting qb and a totally depleted defense (minus zim) would be a solid season.  6 is meh and anything less is a huge disappointment.
