I spent some time talking to a Nebraska fan about this very thing this morning. Unless you are in contention for a conference title, then I almost don't give a eff as long as we are bowl eligible. 7 wins vs 8 wins? Don't really give a eff.

Now, I'd prefer that our win total includes wins over Texas (rivalry) and KU/ISU/WVU (losses to them are humiliating as crap)
