Good find

The only thing I was differet from most Kansans was my pronunciation of syrup. Yeah, it's sear-up.

I say sear-up  :frown:

Get the eff out of my face with that crap

Know what I had for breakfast mocat?  A big plate of pick-AHNs smothered with sear-up and washed down with a tall glass off pop (Pepsi Next if you must know).  Sounds kind of unhealthy but it's delicious.

WELL YOU'RE JUST ALL OVER THE PLACE AREN'T YOU

this isn't groundbreaking stuff though you guys. anybody that had thomas murray's "linguistics, phonetics, and morphology" class at kstate already knew all this and tons more.

When I was last in sf, I was just wondering around and went right into the bright red "sketchy" area.  Stopped in a mexican restaurant for lunch, but it all looked disgusting so I left.

The Tenderloin? Ha ha, that place is rough ridin' crazy and like right adjacent to Union Square. I was walking through there a month or two ago and saw a crackhead just messing around with a gun on a corner. I couldn't tell if it was real or not, but I kept walking.

I was standing at a corner waiting for the light to change and hear a guy telling another guy "I jacked a nigga for some rocks here last night, fuckin busted ass junkies".   My senses were heightened after that.

Kansas should have Ultimate Fakebook or possibly the KSU Marching Band.

Could also go in the music thread! Go Kansas! :ksu:

http://www.buzzfeed.com/hunterschwarz/a-map-of-all-the-states-and-their-most-critically-acclaimed

Like Janelle, but it's an interesting analysis of "most critically acclaimed" that places her above, say, Melissa Etheridge.   :dunno:
