I answered 49 questions right, but it helps that 75% of the answers are in DC or NYC.
Works great in Chrome, Firefox not so much.

Here are some gotchas:

Trip Routes are a result of passing the start and end locations to the Google Directions API. They are a possible route that the taxi took, but should not be assumed to be accurate.
Empty Taxis also follow the "best route" between a dropoff and the next pickup. Just as with the trips, this is just an effective way to move the marker around, but doesn't reflect the reality of where the taxi traveled.
Tips are only reported in the data for credit card transactions. Cash tips are not included.

Loved this.

Everytime I go down the wikipedia wormhole I always check out the locations of various things on google maps.

This link had everything!

Not really a maps story, but the same people ought to get a kick from this BBC story about indigenous tribes that live without contact with the "real world":

Even split.
They don't double dip in the same bank accounts, if that is what you're asking.

Its likely listed as the same simply because their year to year income would be the same, having equal ownership of the company, thus not reflecting actual cash on hand.
