I'm with MIR. It just kind of sucks we keep letting the coach's son make plays and score TDs when there is a reasonable probability that most likely Gronk maybe could have done the same probably.

I liked Travis Wilson more than Gronk, but that was probably it.  I will probably like Winston Dimel more than everyone except Travis Wilson by the end of it, but this makes me sad about Gronk just the same.

Good take.

My favorite K-State fullback is probably still Goolsby. I liked Johnno quite a bit too and T Wilson was really good.

It sucks we are losing the Gronk family as being Pro-K-State.

I don't believe he's been on the team for a couple years now.

How is travis wilson doing anyway?  Wasn't he terrifingly ill at one point?  Or am I thinking of Travis Brown?  In any event, has anyone heard any news over the last few years of whichever cat legend i'm thinking about?

Kansas State redshirt junior FB Glenn Gronkowski accepted an invite to the Senior Bowl.

Baby Gronk isn't a defense-crumpling supernova like Patriots TE (and older bro) Rob Gronkowski, but he's a fine contributor at fullback, scoring seven touchdowns in a limited offensive role with the Wildcats over the course of his career. In early January, CBS Sports analyst Dane Brugler pointed out that the 6-foot-3, 234-pound Gronkowski "established himself as one of the better blockers at the college level early in his career." It's this blocking ability that would likely help the fullback earn a draft selection in the later rounds. For better or worse, his name alone could earn him a slight slot bump.
