I think Duck Dynasty is kind of unique because their values are a central theme of the show and a big part of why they're so popular.

I like how, in the GQ interview, the guy tries to rationalize sexual behavior.  "Well dude, like a pussy is way better than a butthole, amirite?"   Did he think any gay person reading that would just be like "Huh, you know, I bet he's right, I can't believe I've been doing this wrong all along, lawl!"

I thought it sounded much more ignorant than hateful. He thinks gay people are sinners, whatever, that's his prerogative. I'm sure he think lots of people are sinners for a bunch of different reasons, that's just religion for you. When he started talking about how superior the vagina was to a dude's butthole though, that's when he really started to show off his ignorance. Like, I don't think guys sit down and make a list of pros and cons between the pink taco and the brown star, and then decide what their sexuality will be based on that list. Apparently he does, and that's dumb...not really hateful, just rough ridin' stupid.
