Gas is great just have to season correctly.   I don't have time to do charcoal during the week.

All you need is good lump (scrap the briquettes) and a weed burner to get it going.  Less than 10 minutes from lighting it to searing at 550 degrees.

A very important consideration is how often you will grill.   I grill at least three times a week in the summer easily.   Use gas at least two out of three times.   I also have a Webber kettle fwiw.

The Char-Griller Duo is amazing and on sale for $199 at Lowe's. Can confirm

the reviews on Lowe's website say otherwise.

My personal experience does not. Just trying to help here pal

This is the grill i recommended on page 1, i personally think it can't be beat for the price.

Can someone link me to a place that sells the side smoker box?

of course you can't beat it for the price, that doesn't mean it isn't a piece of crap

LOL - Why anyone went to the trouble to actually recommend anything for Fake Sugar Carnes is beyond me.

is there a reason you're so upset about the fact that i don't want a shitty grill?

I'm not upset. I find it humorous that people give you recommendations and then you crap on every one of them.

Here, crap on this. I looked at this one before going with the porcelain smoker/grill.

Good point.

I grill year round.  easily 3x/wk in the spring through fall and at least once a week in the winter.  Also not buying a weed burner and don't want to mess with storing charcoal or having to mess with it when it's 20deg and windy out.

Gas all day err' day.

yes, agree on gas. if I had to clean up charcoal after grilling every time I'd just leave it and buy a new house.

Sushi doesn't require a flame.

Oh man, I caught a bunch of fish in Key West this weekend and after the crew cleaned them, the boat captain brought out some wasabi and we pounded the freshest sushi I have ever had.   :lick:

I do use my Weber on like Saturday's and Sunday's that I grill.  Tonight?  Porkchops, gasser.

It's the equivalent of cooking over a firepit in the 50's.

Yeah, only instead of using one of the charcoal chimneys(or a weedburner apparently) they used to fight a simple stack of the coal and have to wait like 45 min to cook.

I'm thinking the same, Genesis bro.  Kitchen's tore up for a remodel, so outdoor cooking would be fab.

I'll be smoking a brisket all day on Saturday. Good excuse to sit around ALL day and drink. Maybe I'll summerize the boat.  It will be a glorious day.

Don't worry, Mrs. Michigancat and little Michigancats, it's called "covered barbecuing" and boy oh boy is it sweeping the nation faster than automobiles and air conditioning!

Rusty's son looks like a total fuckface in the making there.  Maybe he's raising him that way ironically.  Still.
My prescience is fully engorged.  It throbs with righteous accuracy.  I am sated.
