Cause?

Fertilizer plant caught on fire and exploded. More explosions might be coming, they evacuated the whole damn town (Pop. ~3000)

The West police department is saying 5-15 dead. Injuries in the hundreds.

Thankfully and rightfully they're treating this as a criminal investigation first.

I remember back a few years ago, a 60 minutes type show did a story about how easy it was to get access to Oil Terminals, industrial plants and things of that ilk.  Many of them stepped up and increased their security, but you have to wonder about places like sleepy little American towns.

I'm sure it's just getting swamped with traffic. Similar to the mobile service being down in Boston.
