Hero is a bit much. Maybe he should have also cared about his constitutional duties when he voted to not even have witnesses or evidence presented at the impeachment trial he was supposed to be a juror for.

It's a huge relief when you've had to live with the likes of Kobach, Pompeo, Jenkins, Brownback, etc.

The most positive thing I'd say about Moran is that we've plumbed the depths of his partisanship.

He's the 23rd Republican Senator to vocally oppose the Cruz/Hawley scheme.

I was reading that backwards.  Sorry, Covid-brain.

Nobody bothered telling the media the kid was a dirtbag until after the primary. Anyone who would actually vote a 19 year old into public office deserves ridicule, regardless.

There were articles before the primary.

I don't think there were actually.  IIRC, the revelation about his revenge porn stuff came after the primary.

As of August 7, the only dirt the star had on him was that he made some mean comments about Herman Cain:

Quote
Meanwhile, on the Kansas side of the metro, Democrat Aaron Coleman reacted with delight to prominent Republican Herman Cain’s death from COVID-19. And he told a former Kansas Republican lawmaker and talk show host that he’d “laugh and giggle when you get COVID and die.” Nonetheless, Coleman is winning his District 37 Kansas House primary by one vote. His lead, though still not secure, grew to 807-801 on Friday, according to the Kansas Secretary of State’s Office.

To clarify, she refuses to GIVE the COVID vaccines. Coffey County had one of the first nursing homes in KS to get smashed by COVID.

A nurse that won't give a vaccine should be fired.  In a pandemic or not.

A nurse that won't take a vaccine should also be fired. Same with anyone else in the health industry that has to wear a mask even when there is not a pandemic.

I have friends that work at st lukes plaza and shawnee mission med center.  not nurses that said that they were told that the vaccine would be mandatory for all employees when there's enough for everyone.

fwiw, and wholly anecdotally, taking the second dose apparently sucks ass for a not insignificant amount of people.

"sucks ass" seems to equal a day or two of feeling like you have a moderate flu, from the info I have heard.

To anyone who is concerned about that, specifically, "eff you!".
