Omari is going to be better than Will next year.

Not saying he is going to start, just he will be better.

That's not saying much.

They play different positions though. Also completely opposite style of play. So I'm not sure why you are comparing him to will.

I don't see how people think DJamer is bad....my God, DJamer seemed to be the only one of our bigs that had a pulse.  THe guy is a high energy guy and saved our ass off the bench a couple of times this year.  He actually knows that when you post up, the 1st thing you have to do is catch the ball(unlike Gip and JO) then he has shone the ability to make a move toward the basket in an unawkward way(unlike Gip and JO).  Did he not play against Lasalle?  Why?  the offense and our bigs were sucking donkey butt, bring is a high energy guy to jumpstart things (oh, I forgot, we are talking about Weber here)...............

Anyways, the thing that is going to kill this team next year is not having a backup for Angel.  Do we expect Angel to play 40 minutes/game, every game?  Spradling as a backup point?  :barf: :jerk: :sdeek: :flush: :chainsaw:  :runaway:

I didn't include Diaz in the above discussion about our bigs, cause quite frankly, I forgot he was still on the team?  I think he has marginal talent, but I think that dude is dumber than our HC, and can't figure out how to play offense or defense (I guess that just covers the whole game of basketball). So, unless he gets a brain transfusion next year, I will count him out!!!!!!
Awaiting the inevitable KITN

I'm not sure what our record will be right now, but if we are a bubble team or a 10/11 seed, i am gonna be pissed.

Shane is the one who improved the most this year.   But hey Nino was worthless as a frosh and he ended up being in our 8 man rotation as a soph.   Never thought that last summer.

We are gonna need Gip to take the next step up next year and have at least one other player improve enough to be a valuable player if we are using an 8 man rotation next year

And i still think Foster is gonna come in and be a contributor by the time Christmas rolls around.

Its a long ways til November 2013.  No one thought 27-7 entering Tourney back on Nov 12'.    Just like no one thought a 2 seed would happen back on Nov 2009.      Be projected for 5th/6th in the conference and do much better than that..... it's the Kstate way, is it not?

Can oscar take the playbook from the coach at VMI? Having the team averaging 99 points a game while giving up 98 points a game would make a losing season at least more entertaining.

I have very large concerns about our basketball future as we move into the Post Tunnel Dance Era.  We really need strong minutes from two of these three people  DJamer, Diaz, Fincher. If two of them step up we could compete for the big 12. If one steps up we still make the NCAA tournament. If we get nothing we lose about every other game in conference. For reference I am talking 5 points 6 rebounds per game minimum.

I would expect that Angel will average 36 minutes a game at point.
Will will average 30 minutes,
Omari 26 minutes (10 for Will and 16 for Shane at SG),
Shane 34 minutes  16 at PF,
Nino 20 minutes and
Gipson and DJamer 20 minutes each at 5.

Starting Lineup

PG    Angel   JR.                Orris  So.                              Thomas Fr.    Probable Redshirt
G      Will      Sr.                Omari Sr.                       Foster Fr.
G   Shane   Sr.                    Westicles Fr.
PF    Nino     Jr.                     Fincher Fr.
C    Gipson  Jr.            DJamer  So. ,   Diaz  Jr.

Chief Tunnel Dancer
Starting                                     Reserve

Shane      :horrorsurprise:             Angel         :dubious:

Well my lineup is already trash!!!!    :curse:

Freshmen at point, no true big, and missing our best all around guard Rodney?

crap.
