Seems like you got a lot of issues. Would appreciate if you would work them out elsewhere. TIA

Weber has been slighting Self for almost a decade now.  Aside from the funeral he boasted he "kicked [Self's] butt" when he coached SIU against Illinois when Bill was there.    (Even though he lost the game.)  Then just in the last week or so he made a crack about KU getting the title because of the officials.  Which while true is a really dumb thing to say, especially when the season's not over.

But if that wasn't enough, think about what Self went through losing to Bucknell with Roy's players while oscar Weber got coach of the year with his ... and acted like he did it all himself too.

There is a story on the Illinois board about a couple fans that bumped into Self at the Final Four in New Orleans right after Weber was hired.  They wanted to know if we hired a good coach and he wouldn't answer, he just looked at Norm Roberts and smiled.

Look, it's true KU has better players and better coaches ... but Bill's teams come out flat at times, and that is never gonna happen against KSU so long as Weber is still there.

:DNR: However, I'm pretty sure oscar can't make open shots happen. All he can do is implement the system that got them here. "MAKE YOUR FUCKIING SHOT!!

It was never going to happen against K-State anyway because we are KU's super bowl. Always have been. Weber doesn't get credit for making KU hate us, sorry.

I would say that our biggest problem is that Kansas is better.

I love our team but, Self is just a better coach with better players.  Pretty simple formula.

That must have been how TCU and Baylor managed to beat them but we couldn't.

This. As a KU fan, don't you get pissed that your team doesn't play every game like they play against K-State? I mean, TCU, Baylor, OU, Oklahoma State at home? KU would have won all those games by 15+ if they would have gotten as excited to play those games as they get to play K-State.

oscar is a coward.

oscar needs to do what bill does.  Understand before the game that he is going to put on a show to the refs at the first questionable call and keep the show up until they tech you.

Flip your lid, concede the two points, and you will get that two back in calls that maybe wouldn't have been made.

Our biggest problem was not making our open shots, but the insanity of the fouls was a close second.

it all started with his "funeral" he held for bill at Illinois...bill hates him. I'll be surprised if they ever beat KU as long as he is your coach

OK, IchabodSlipp, just like I told your Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) brother chemhawk, oscar's cowardly gameplan has nothing whatsoever to do with something KU is doing, or the funeral, or any of that crap.

Why you calling him Ichabod? I'm the Ichabod here and it is well known. Respect son

It's never happened before he was here.  Don't be stupid.  Self doesn't give a eff about Weber.  Why should he?

I could give oscar bitching lessons. I have several ku fans who sat around me at sprint tonight who can vouch for me. My fiancée could also help, she was nearly as impressive as me.

My wife wanted to quit watching the game, she was so pissed at how big a pussy Weber was being. (true story.)

With all this anger lately please tell us you didn't beat her.

while it's unlikely that Weber will win many games against Self, a decent measure of performance would be to beat Vegas expectations, and in four career matchups, Weber has yet to do that.

8-point spread - lose by 14*
3.5-point spread - lose by 4
7-point spread - lose by 21
5.5-point spread - lose by 16

to do

oscar webers Sunday to do list.

1) buy new nets to put back up at field house west. Should have never cut them down.
2) pack and ship overnight- coach of the year award to bill self. If you can't beat him its undeserved.
3) put conference trophy in attic. No need to try to explain why you think you deserve a half when you got blown out 3 times.
4) buy aspirin to try to get that rock chalk chant from ringing in your head at the end of the game.
5) say a little prayer that you don't see KANSAS in the tournament.

If Self leaves this year and oscar coaches another decade, I give him a 50/50 chance.
