I could understand not thinking Rocky is the best movie ever, but anybody who doesn't have it in their top 10 probably hasn't seen it.

I have seen it. I've also seen better acting in cheerios commercials. Sylvester Stallone is terrible. He was Keanu Reeves before Keanu was born. He's Ashley Judd without boobs. He's Lindsay Lohan after she went to prison. He's bad guys. Really bad.

Rocky sucks balls and taints and whatever else you guys think people suck on.

Rocky was made in 1976 and cost less than a million to make iirc, and has certainly passed the test of time. That is impressive.

Summary of the The Departed:

Recent Police academy grad joins a gang. The gang thinks there's a snitch in the group. They are really good at being a gang but can't figure out that the guy who went to the academy is a cop.

Everyone gets shot, Alec Baldwin tries to be funny and fails, Marky Mark makes it watchable.

Its disappointing based on my expectations going in.

Loved Rocky when I was a kid. Went back and watched it again last year and felt super stupid for having loved it so much as a kid.

It was disappointing. It had won like infinity awards by the time I saw it, and it was a B- at best. AT BEST EMO!

The scene where the elevator door opens and BAM! he gets shot in the face, eff! Really caught me off guard. Also I was really impressed with how the cops could be all drop-gunny and shoot each other and think how the evidence would look in just a few seconds.
