Dinosaurs are a group of terrestrial reptiles that first appeared in the Late (or perhaps Middle) Triassic Period, about 230 million years ago. Although dinosaur bones have been discovered throughout human history, these animals were only described scientifically in the early nineteenth century. Since that time, scientists have identified nearly a thousand different dinosaur species, from all continents, and ranging in size from a few kilograms to tens of tons.

Dinosaurs are also a popular and evocative group of animals, familiar to children and adults around the world. For a century they embodied the concepts of failure, sloth, and obsolescence, but the recent renaissance in dinosaur paleontology has led us to understand them as active, successful organisms that dominated terrestrial ecosystems for over 160 million years.

KU Football The Kansas Jayhawks football program is the intercollegiate football program of the University of Kansas also known as (Little Brother) The program is barely classified in the NCAA's Division I, and the team thinks they compete in the Big 12 Conference.

Kansas football dates back to 1890 and is one the oldest programs in the nation despite not having won a conference championship in 45 years.  Notable former players include attempted murderer Aqib Talib and sexual predator Greg Nicks. The Jayhawks have won one BCS bowl game, the 2008 Orange Bowl which they won't shut up about even though they didn't beat a single ranked team that season. The team currently plays on a track field and has had seven sellouts over the past eight years, thanks to the well traveling fans of opposing Big 12 schools.

Is it?  Because personally I struggle with this.  Did I enjoy the 64-0 win in 2002 over KU more than the 10-9 win over KU in 1993?  Yes, the answer is yes Tim, I did.  I enjoyed winning by 64 more than I enjoyed winning by one.

I know this guy probably doesn't represent all ku fans (at least I hope not for the sake of humanity), but I have noticed how no other fans on earth invest so much of their self-worth into ku basketball. It's not charming, it's sad.
