If Ku fans want to brag about their BB program.... then fine.  They sure can.  However, it is down right hilarious they think their FB is going to  be a relevant team in the Big12 and an above average team. And Why?  Because MM had them be a top 25 team one season.   Since the B12 formed, KU is arguably the worst team from a power conf.

1 really good year.  Take out that 1 season and ......
KU has zero winning records in the Big 12
KU has zero 9 win seasons in the Big 12 (Ksu has 12 since 93')
Conf record is 29-101.  29 wins in those 16 seasons.  Kstate's best 4 Big12 seasons we have 30 conf wins.

sorta like your basketball teams overall success? and if I recall KU has a better all time against Kstate in football so your point is.......?

Once again, you show how little you know about history.   While Ksu was a bad BB team for about 16 years prior to Huggy,  this was our 20th conference title.     Ku FB has been piss poor since the Big 12 formed and prior to that, your FB program wasnt worth a crap

Could KU become a decent FB program?  Well, anything is possible.  But KU fans have been claiming they were taking a step in the right direction for years and years.      It is time to show us instead of telling us

I would argue we were only bad for the 10 years prior to Huggins.  The six years before that included two NCAA tournaments and two NIT tournaments.  Not great, but definitely not "bad".  Also this is technically our 18th regular season conference title.  The 20 includes the two Big 8 Tournament championships of 1977 and 1980.  Also, we won the Big 8 Holiday Tournament a bunch of times in the 50's and 60's, but we don't count those because they were mid-season tournaments, not post-season.
