As long as they don't insist that ppl come to them for holidays, bdays, etc, then this should work out fine.

Really my parents just did a good job of saving and it's time to retire to that house on the hill with a view.  And an indoor pool.  And an elevator in case one of them ends up wheelchair bound.  You see they're planners.

FTR the place they're going looks beautiful

EMOs parents sound like BRs parents. Youngest bro finished college, old man retired(mom still part time). Now they are just bouncing house to house with the seasons.

Not one creepy billboard about creepy white people entertainment shows or revivals in that pic.  Not one.

Hey guys, not sure if this is the correct thread but here we go anyways:

I am 6'3 and have always struggled with being able to wash my hair comfortably in the shower. I'm finally fed up with this and have decided to take immediate action. I read online that an S pipe may solve my problem.

This brings me to my question I would like answered: Do any of you other tall GE'rs have any solutions to this problem. I'm mostly worried about disconnecting the standard pipe and putting myself at risk for a basilisk encounter. Thanks in advance!

Buy a rain head that screws on to shower pipe. Most of them have a swivel adjustment that will give at least another 6" of height to most any shower.

S-pipes are easy to install, but most detachable wand or rain style heads will give you extra height too.

I hate it when the shower is too tall and it is like 2 feet away from you so the water pressure isn't very high by the time it reaches you.

I have never encountered a shower head that was too tall.

Yes but these are garbage and look like garbage. It's like, is this a stud's shower or my Grandma's shower? Because I thought I was a stud but I guess not.

Can't you just install like one of those ones that you can detach and has a hose and you can hold it with your hand and manipulate it how you want?  That's how they all are in Europe so I assume it's better (but I don't know why).

our new shower has one of those and a rain head one. I have never used the hose one. I think mrs. dave may use them in tandem. it's sometimes switched over so they both spray when I turn it on.

But then you only have one hand to shampoo, lather, etc.

ours is on a rod thing so you can adjust it as high or low as you want and tilt it anyway you want. then you can unhook it or whatever and hold it if you want to hold it.

Question for elite construction/HVAC cats. How important is it to have fiberglass encapsulated lining on your HVAC system? Our new house apparently was built with just fiberglass lining (?), which I've heard can be bad for the lungs long-term. I am a distance runner for my career and I moonlight as an opera singer so I need my lungs for a long long time.
