Pierson's moving to more of a slot receiver role and will be utilized more in the passing game.  Sims/Miller should be a pretty solid running back duo next year.  If Heaps pans out (unlike Crist), KU might be able to win a conference game.

Wow.  Great news!  We're stockpiling talent left and right.

Cool story. Too bad you lost out on Fred Wyatt.  I can't imagine how I'd feel if we lost out on a stud kid from Manhattan, who's dad coached at K-State.

What makes you think their D will be decent?  They were awful on defense last year and most of their better defensive players were seniors.  They had four defensive players sign NFL free agent contracts this year (McDougal, Opurum, Brown, and Williams).   They'll be no more talented on D next year and less experienced.

Dave Campo built a name for himself with decent defense, that's why.

"Pans out" is too generous for Heaps according to his previous performance at BYU. Heap is going to have to be better then he was a BYU. In a better conference with less talent around him. Considering KU is going to have an inexperience O-line it is going to be a hell of a challenge for him.
