Looks like that Big 12 title is paying dividends in recruiting... or not.

Actually, if you read the recruiting thread, you will see that we just landed a big RB commit of our own! :woot:

Awesome... a no star from Blue Springs with only one offer (K-State).

wow

all kinds of stupid there, beems.

Meh.  Would rather have the 4-star stud with multiple BCS offers.

no way beems is serious but just in case

Dalvin Warmack

Warmack was the Gatorade Player of the Year in Missouri in 2012.

Blue Springs (Mo.) High four-star running back Dalvin Warmack confirmed with 247Sports he committed to Kansas State.

The 5-foot-9, 177-pound Warmack visited the Wildcats campus over the weekend.

"Just their environment," Warmack said. "It felt like home. The coaching staff is great. I liked the depth chart, they only have three running backs coming back when I would get there, and I like their style of play."

Easy to see why Kansas State likes Warmack's style of play.

Ranked by 247Sports as the nation's No. 19 running back, Warmack rushed 254 times for 2,294 yards and 39 touchdowns. He added another six touchdowns receiving.

Warmack is the first pledge for Kansas State in 2014. He also had offers from Missouri and Toledo.

You were the kid that had a hi5/myspace/xenga profile when everyone else was on facebook, weren't you?  :gocho:

Also, our guy is better than your guy. This guy is the 2nd JR ever to win the Simone and he lead his team to a 40-something to 3 victory in the MO class 6 state championship game this past season. Your guy plays pud KSHSFB and run's standing straight up. Our other 4-star stud Nick Ramirez will break him the eff in half ( :lynchmob: ). That is, if some pud FCS school doesn't destroy him first.  :driving:

Sounds like the in-state guys that aren't Reggie Mitchell's bastards and/or went to La Miego are really getting "it."

ku has won 6 conference games in 4 years, and lost 20 straight conference games.

The team has been bad for 3+ years.  The program is no worse than several other programs in the Big 12, including K-State.

ku is in the midst of the worst conference run in Big 12 history.   K-State hasn't lost 20 straight conference games since the Toilet bowl era nearly 3 decades ago, by conference game winning %, the current stretch for ku is worse than the peak of ku's side of the Toilet Bowl era.

Since the inception of the Big 12 (Conference Games):

K-State 84-54 .608

ku 36-102 .231

Beems'ian logic . . . pretty much the same.

Yet, KU is one of a handful of Big 12 programs to win a BCS Bowl.  Plus we consistently out-recruit K-State.  You guys are just fortunate to have LHC Bill Snyder.  It's not like your program is miles apart or anything.
