He leads the league in points and assists. Even if you turn it over all the time (which Pierre does), I don't know how you don't make 1st team with those accomplishments.

Sorry, I forgot what thread I was in. Yeah, all the KU people I follow on twitter were really butthurt, and there's really only one phogtard-like person I follow. The combination of yesterday and today just really got to them, I guess.

I think Angel was screwed (should have been 1st team Big 12 over McLemore). Self really crap his pants at the end of the year, so it's hard to say he still deserves COTY.

The AP list was sort of surprising to me. Do they normally just pick who they think the 5 best players are or do they usually pick 3 guards and 2 posts? I was under the impression that it is usually 3 guards and 2 posts, but I don't normally pay much attention to this kind of stuff.

I think it should go to the best player, and I don't really have a problem with Smart getting it. There really isn't a clear best player this year.

I also have no idea why any coach would still be fired up about something like that. Flopping is just part of good defense.
