Iowa St 76  KU 70

KU had better lose this game, but i would give Baylor only 10% chance of winning vs KU.   I say 10% because KU has been just that bad on offense on the road.    I meen Texas with no Kabongo had them down 8 midway 2nd half and Huggybear clowned around and fell behind 15 pts halfway thru the first half and by halfway thru the 2nd half it was a 2 point game.   Osu only shot 35.9 eFG and still almost won.

This thread is a cute preemptive coping mechanism.

Here's my pick

68 (2 freaking OTs), 66, 55, 61, 59, 64, 60 These are KUs absolutely pathetic road scoring totals in conference play

86, 87, 83, 79, 73, 69, 82 ISUs home scoring totals

Bill Self's balls or K-State fans stupid ass battered spouse, KITN whining won't help KU mysteriously start to shoot well when they haven't all season, or the inverse to ISU.

I won't need to wait until tomorrow night, I'll shame you losers now. I don't believe in the Easter bunny, Santa and whatever stupid rationale is being used here. If this was K-State in this circumstance you clowns would be whining about oscar getting his chicken nuggets getting pushed in.

Perfect line for the win-win here boys.  :fatty:  And that means I'll be betting on KU for any of the dumbsticks that don't understand the win-win.
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

It seems Vegas miscalculated. They took Hilton into account, but forgot to multiply by the magic factor.

Bill Self is addicted to conference titles.  When was the last time that KU crap the bed against less competition with a conference title on the line?  Don't say TCU, because if KU wins out, then the TCU game didn't mean jack crap...they'd still have a title.

Bill Self doesn't lose regular season conference title games.

KU will still win a conference title if they lose because we aren't winning in Stillwater. This game means jack crap to KU, and ISU will win easily.

Sorry to burst your bubble Beems, but I imagine we'd be jerking off to our pud path to a Big 12 Championship.

Yeah, Okie State in Stillwater should be a cakewalk.

If KU loses, we wouldn't even have to win that game! :excited:

ISU can certainly win this game. KU always struggles in Hilton, throw in the road struggles of KU this year and a loss could happen.  I do think KU is playing better basketball now and will win this game by 4-5 points. I know, not a real shocker on my pick.

Bill and the Hawks really got their swagger back after pummeling the living balls off the Cats in Lawrence.  KU will win by 7.

Not to be the bucket of cold water, but is everyone here just assuming 14-4 is the Cats' worst case scenario? We could lose @OSU and @Baylor. It would be just so... K-State for the Hawks to lose to ISU and then we turn around and lose to Baylor.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

Well, technically we wouldn't be fully boned until we know the outcome of the @ OSU game, but ya that would be horrible.

Here is what is going to happen:

Iowa State will control the game the entire way, maintaining a 4-7 point lead throughout, but they will never be able to put the Jayhawks away.
Late in the game the Hawks will make a run and get to within 3 with the ball and 3.4 seconds left.
Fred Hoiberg, clearly learning his lesson after the debacle that was Ben McLemore banking in a last second shot in the first game against Kansas, tells his team to foul the ballhandler as KU brings the ball up the court.
Chris Babb does as his coach instructs him to, but Naadir Tharpe simoultaneously throws up a prayer from half court that swishes through the net as the whistle blows and the game clock hits zero.  As the Hilton Coliseum crowd explodes the "Cyclone Noise Meter" on the jumbotron with a chorus of boos, Tharpe calmly hits the free throw.  Insanity ensues.
"If i worked for the NY times, and my boss told me 'hey. if you keep ranking ksu so high, we may fire you' i would tell my boss to 'bring it on.'"  -FFF
