I have no idea whether the pants I'm wearing to work are black or super mega dark navy. I left the house this morning thinking navy but now they seem to be black.
Faded black?
I wish I knew MG. During lunch I even asked some co workers what they thought and one guy was like "Black. Hang on......okay come over here by the window so we can see it in natural lighting. Yeah I think they're navy after all." Then more dispute. It was getting pretty scientific when someone said it had to do with the amount of light the fabric was reflecting.
The truly shameful part is even when I thought they were navy pants I still wore a black belt.
Back when I was a student I bought a pair of green corduroy pants. Took them home, pulled them out of the bag and they were brown. Figured I must have grabbed the wrong ones, and took them back and exchanged them. Got them back to the apartment and they turned brown again. Came to figure out that they were green under florescent lights, and brown under regular lighting.
You know how hard it was to figure out what shirt went with both green and brown pants?
and before you laugh at me for having green corduroy pants, it was the late 90s.
