But how does the mullet scientist figure in to all of this?

I doubt he's anything more than a mullet MacGuffin. The idea of launching a bunch of missles to spread some chemical to kill zombies that are already dead is dumb even by TWD standards.

Is this not the shows theory of how everyone turns zombie upon dying now?  That they were all infected w something.  They haven't theorized about It for some seasons now, but I think i recall that being discussed.

The gore is getting to be too much sometimes. Not sure what is added by a close up of someone getting their arm sawed in half.
Lots of mother rough ridin' awesomeness!

Wow. Best ep of the series IMO. I really enjoy the faster pacing

Yeah that part definitely got me to look away for a second and curse. They like to sneak that gore shock factor when I am not ready.

Really looking forward to it.  Though, from the previews from last week it looked like we wouldn't learn much more about the hospital this week and it would instead focus on the group headed to DC.  The DC bound group is my least favorite story line, so I hope that isn't the case.....BUT, maybe they will spice that group up.

If you don't like this episode you don't like The Walking Dead. Its not the best episode ever but you must hate the show.

Your conclusion is wrong. The two are not mutually exclusive. I just don't like this particular thread. Has anyone really done a sanity check on this Eugene guy's story?

Is he dead? I think so. Really thought Rosita would die, based on their formula of anyone who barely talks getting more than five lines equals death.

from talking dead, he acted like he was alive for the remainder of the season, once he explained what he does the rest of the season he retracted it by saying "if he is alive", so i think he will be around for awhile

He still has the rough ridin' mullet in real life, and the the ginger still has his handle bar stache, so they are both still obviously on the show.

Good episode.  I felt like something like this was bound to happen, but I didn't think he was making it all up just to feel relevant.  I thought maybe he wasn't a scientist but smart enough to know how to fix it.  I have no idea where the show is going now except they need to break out Beth and Carol.  Maybe after that they still head to DC cause they think that is the best option?

This was one of the better episodes since season 1. This show might be finally turning a corner?

The ginger's backstory was brief but good. So his family left him because they were terrified of his brutality? He's a man who needed a mission. He accepted mullet's story hook, line, and sinker because it's what he needed. Still doesn't explain everyone else buying into such a stupid story, but whatever - it's reasonable to assume that people will do some pretty irrational stuff in a zombie apocalypse.

So next up should be rescuing Carol and Beth, I guess, and then who knows from there.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

That episode took hope and kicked it in the nuts pretty hard.

I hope they have a good plan for all this.

That's pretty weird, to split because your husband and father kicks too much ass during a zombie apocalypse?  Like, I am sure he was already a pretty violent guy and was a soldier and those kids were pretty old so his freak outs would be old news by then.  Really a weird time to decide you want a divorce.
