Just watched, doesn't everyone already have zombbug, it just kicks in when they die?  Why would eating a zomb bitten leg matter?

Also, why jump in water zomb pit when you could just shoot them in head from above?

This may be the point of selling the show. Keeps us coming back for more.

To the first point, the risk is that it would make them sick and they would die. When you get bit you just get a really bad fever and then die, the zombie state is only loosely related.

I guess it's like an HIV vs Aids thing.

During Katrina, everybody talked about how dangerous the water was from the bodies, chemicals, etc.  Meanwhile, you have the crew jumping into the water with rotting disease ridden corpses.  Didn't seem like a wise move.

True, but in basically every episode they get zombie blood all over the face and seemingly in their mouth when they crush some walker's head.

Squirrel, rabbits, and other animals faster than zombies would be loads easier to hunt.  Especially a couple years after most of the ppl died off.  Especially if everyone still had guns, bows, and stuff.

Seems crazy and dangerous.  Like I get defending your frat but hunting the folks who just kicked your ass?  They are 1-2 in big fights

Right. The cannibalsim thing made sense in The Road where everything was dead. But in Walking Dead it's just the opposite. They've probably got a huge deer overpopulation problem by now that needs to be taken care of.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

I don't know. I'd think hordes of zombies would be just as damaging to the animal population as the now missing hunters would be.  Just the brute force of a horde of zombies would knock down (maybe trap without meaning to) deer.

The zombies ate a horse in season 1.

i think its pretty clear it isnt transferred by blood, all of them have scratches and stuff that 'bies blood gets all over.  when they die is when they actually turn.  i think its the 'bies saliva that is the real killer here.  you always hear about how a dogs mouth is much cleaner than a persons, i bet a 'bies mouth is :barf:

You know what would probably have been miserable in that basement?  Mosquitos.  They would probably have to be spreading some kind of disease.

Yeah, that's what made me think of it.

I think we're onto something here. Perhaps the best way to stop the zombie plague is with a gangbusters team of crack dental hygienists. Pearly white zombie teeth spread no disease.  Guess that doesn't really stop the saliva though.

I thought it was already "common knowledge" that only the biting is dangerous, for whatever reason. I thought that was the whole reason for Michone removing the teeth of her pets. Made them non-agressive and not dangerous.

I understand how it makes them non dangerous, but why did it cause them to be non-aggressive?  Wouldn't a zombie with no lower jaw just try to gum you to death?

never mind, did some wiki reading.  apparently if they lose the ability to feed, they lose the desire.

apparently the danger from biting is from infection and a zombie's dirty mouth.  Whatever everyone has that zombies them when they die, also has weakened everyone's immune system.

Pretty great. This season has been awesome so far. Glad that they aren't dragging out story lines as long as the governor.

Sort of the opposite, actually. The writers have a serious case of ADHD mixed with outright stupidity. The ADHD: Terminus crew shows up last episode, they eat Bob's leg - oohh, it's "tainted meat" what's gonna happen?! Answer: nothing. The good guys slaughter them in the very next episode. There's no drama, no suspense, no story development - just garbage writing.

The stupidity: Terminus crew brings Bob back to the church, who proceeds to tell the good guys exactly where the bad guys are camped. Naturally, the good guys see nothing suspicious about this, and decide it will be a wonderful idea to sneak over to the school. Only, wait, they didn't fall for it after all, returning to the church to slaughter the bad guys? The writers provide no explanation for the head fake to the audience. It would have been easy to do, something along the lines of "our whole planning session was a lie because we couldn't trust Gabriel" - but the writers are too lazy/stupid for that.

Great episode!  I'm also glad they didn't drag on with the Termites and I'm impressed they offed them so fast.  Rick!!!

This season is very fast-paced, and I hope it continues.

Who did Daryl bring back?  Why did he come from the woods?  Why did he not look happy when Michonne asked where Carol was?  Who is with Daryl?

Looks like next week we will see a lot of Beth.  The preview looked like the hospital she was in was clean, but the outside it looked rough.  So I don't think it was a flashback.

This season has me wanting more!  :Woohoo:

Bob is gone.  Who will be the next member of the group to die?  I want to say either Rosita or Tara.

Bet they focus on Beth for an episode, then Daryl's rescue attempt for another episode.

I was glad they dealt with the Terminus people quickly in the show, rather than dragging it out across 1/2 a season, but they could have thrown in a little dialogue to help it along.  "Welp, we're all going to die soon anyway, may as well try to extract some revenge".  Also, Rick's group has been in survival mode for years now, but they're staying in a church where they don't completely trust the pastor, and they don't have anyone on lookout?  "Oh look, someone's on the ground outside."

Morgan's coming back at some point too -- they showed him a couple of episodes ago, but haven't since.

But we did get Garret's 4th of 5th speech about how "we used to be good." I'm glad they cleared that up for us.

Also, Rick's group has been in survival mode for years now, but they're staying in a church where they don't completely trust the pastor, and they don't have anyone on lookout?  "Oh look, someone's on the ground outside."

True, but actually a fairly minor example of TWD stupidity, relatively speaking.
