Don't get too excited, KSU will find a way to lose any claim to a Big XII title.  It is just how men's basketball works for them in recent memory.

Seriously, its not like this is KU with a 1 seed and the favs to make the FF in that region.   

Its nice to think about winning conf title in both FB/BB.  That's one dream KU probably isnt gonna have anytime soon

First of all I don't, and never have, live in JoCo.  I am not a bandwagon KU fan either.  Have been cheering for them as long as I can remember in both football and basketball.  Mediocrity for KU football is a huge step up.  That is just me being honest.  I suppose I could have said I want a national title or nothing else in football, but that would seem ridiculous considering the current state of the program.  Next time put the beer down before you start thinking.

I did not go to KU, that does not make me any less of a fan.  I was a fan of KU sports long before I ever thought about college.  I choose the school I did because they offered more scholarships than KU.  Did not want to rack up debt.

Guys I'm a fan of Kentucky and Alabama now. I have huge connections, I graduated from highschool in 2008 and undergraduate in 2012, but my money concerns outweighed my ability to go to Lexington or Tuscaloosa. It doesn't make me less of a fan don't judge me, btw your team sucks! WE kicked your ass!

I have been to 3 basketball games and probably like 5 or 6 football games.  Much easier to go to a football game since tickets are practically given away.

I have been to more games in Allen Fieldhouse than self-proclaimed lifelong Jayhawk fan GCJayhawk. And funny that you say football tickets are practically given away and BBall tickets are hard to come by, because the tickets to at least two of the games I've gone to were free.

The first step to recovering is admitting your t-shirt fan problem.

Except I'm not a T-shirt fan.  Believe it or not you can be a lifelong fan of a school and not go there. Are all those farmers who love KSU that never went there awful KSU fans?

We call them T-Shirt Tucks.  HTH

I think that applies until you are of college age.  I have squawk parents, but the minute I decided to enroll at the state's flagship institution (EMAW U), I would have absolutely been a t-shirt fan if I had kept rooting for the 'Hawks for other than reasons.  #1 means that my parents can be fans of K-State because 8bropick and I got degrees from K-State.

By and large you are correct but if you were raised a KU fan and want to be vet, going to KSU is only reasonable.  If you are just some Business, Education,etc major it is pretty unreasonable to not attend the school you love.

You can still cheer for your parent's alma mater and not be a disgusting t-shirt fan as long as they are not your primary love. I'll cheer for Iowa from time to time, but if they were to play the 'cats, I'd tell my parents (in the most polite way possible) that we were going to kick their rough ridin' asses.
