Just saw a pic on FB of a kid at the airport holding up a sign to the team as they flew out a few days ago. They appear to be flying Sun Country metal.

My thoughts on tonight are that we start Esquivel then piece together the rest of the game with Williams, Wivinis, and Matthys.

Williams and Matthys pitched a decent amount Saturday and Wivinis only had a few pitches last night so hopefully all three are good for 1-3 innings each. Really just depends on who is getting the job done and who is feeling good. If we get into some trouble I could see Flattery coming back for an inning or a couple outs but that is pretty tough on only a days rest. Esquivel really needs 3-4 innings of 2 run baseball to punch our ticket to Omaha.

The BatCat side of the BoozeCats needs to continue to get on base and run up the pitch count. In a closer game we get their starter out of the game earlier and start working on their bullpen. The guy tonight isn't quite as good and if we can keep the pressure on him but not being down 100 runs we should be able to get him out of the game before the 7th.

How does that make me an idiot? He is our best pitcher and a trip to Omaha is on the line. Even if he doesn't pitch a lot of innings, a good start where we're not down by 5 runs would be nice.
