So, I worked for Wates and the K-State Baseball Analytics team, the 21-22 school year. I am going to give you all the information on Disharoon Park and what I see just from looking at a quick scout since that is what I would have done for the analytics department each game. Before I went on to win two back to back SB rings with KCCFC.
Some tidbits that suck and don't suck.
Pete Hughes is 2-7 in Disharoon Park when coaching Virginia Tech
Jacob Ference (UVA's Catcher) is UVA's best player, transferred from Division III Salisbury. Dude has the best OPS (1.203), slashing .362/.469/.734 with 17 homers, 13 doubles and 41 RBIs.
Kansas State has the 10th most stolen bases in the country and is FAST. Jacob Ference has thrown out 11 of 50 base stealers (22 percent) for UVA which could pose a problem if we get on base.
My passion project was we programmed something like this for the coaches in Python.
