Um, we have other pitchers

We don't really have QUALITY good pitchers left.

SEMO can hit and there's no telling what happens when No. 3 pitchers meet. Our best bet is to hope for a 10-9 type of game tomorrow (preferably with SEMO winning) and then we outslug our way to the supers.

I was talking about the guy that was gassed, had pitched his season high, and needed one more out.  Surely we had someone that could do that.   He was starting his 3rd time through the lineup I believe too. Was a tatcial mistake that worked put.

Hey dudes who know more about the boozeqatz than me. I am taking a road trip tomorrow that happens to be going through Fayetteville. Should I try to time it to go to this game? I’ll be with two kids and have no tickets. What should I do for tickets? Buy them now? Wait until SEMO eliminates pig aggy, then buy them on the cheap from dejected losers as they walk out of #OurBaum with their head hanging low that they don’t get to play in the night game?

Cheap and widespread availability will wholly depend on Arkansas' involvement.

I thought about going down, but when I remembered to look all that was left was out in that ridiculousness of the hog trough or whatever the hell they call it . . . no thanks.

Last night was reminded me why baseball exists. The last 2 innings made me feel as much as a close football game can make me feel, and I haven't been following the Booze Cats much at all.

Let me tell you something Steve, I (as someone who has now watched one full KSU baseball game all season) am locked in for these Bat Cats! The bandwagon is riding smooth all the way to Omaha (or at least the Super Regional).

Let’s ride with these boys (non of who I know that name of, but that will change after tonight!)!

EMAW
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

What happens from a pitching standpoint is going to be interesting. Our five best pitchers are all probably unavailable today. That likely leaves us with either Ruhl (9.49 ERA) or Wintroub (5.93 ERA) getting the start. Have to give Hughes credit for getting us this far, but using Dean yesterday in the blowout against La Tech was a pretty dumb move (would have been better to use one of our weaker arms to save Dean given the cushion we had).

Regardless, if/when Ruhl or Wintroub get roughed up, we probably go to Slack (4.50 ERA) or Buss (4.26 ERA) and then the other after that. You probably have to save one of Ruhl/Wintroub/Frost to eat up innings tomorrow if we lose. MAYBE Boerma could come back for an inning or two if we play tomorrow.

If we play SEMO, their pitching has been stretched to its limit (and it wasn't great to begin with), so if we play them, hopefully our bats can look more like they did Friday vs. yesterday when we only had 5 hits. SEMO can most definitely hit (former K-State hitting coach Andy Sawyers is their head coach), so we could be looking at a high scoring game unless our pitchers throw the game of their life.

I'm hoping SEMO hold on and we have a high scoring game into the super regionals

Can I buy Hog Pen tix and sneak into good seats? I’ll have people with me who may more enjoy frolicking than game watching. Also I have no lawn chairs or blankets or anything.

Only thing that could have been better for us was if semo won it in extra innings. But that little spark of life arky had in the 9th made semo use another reliever. So, that's good. Doors open if we can figure out how to walk through it

Guys this Ruhl. Got $2 tickets and am going to sit wherever I want. They sell Sam’s Club spiked seltzers. In the end, EMAW always wins.

So we're rooting for Mississippi State to beat UVA tonight and tomorrow night right?  Cause then we bid to host the super over Miss state?  Would imagine would put out as much as it would take to host
