I know Brad, I like Brad but I think we all can agree its time for new blood because it hasnt been working. While I confidently say that I watch more Kstate baseball than anyone else on this blog and I can say this season was going to be a struggle no matter who our coach was because of the age of our team and transfers the past few seasons and injuries to the pitching staff (our ace pitcher has been out amongst some of our top relievers), but we havent played well since 2013.I have respect for Brad and he has led us to the most successful run in school history but looking ahead at potential names that could be looked at, here is who i think we could target. Rob Vaughn, former Kstate catcher current Maryland HC. He is the youngest HC of all power 5 schools in his first year at Maryland. Maryland has struggled and were predicted to finish as one of the top teams in the big 10 in the preseason but are currently close to the bottom. Young, strong recruiter, from Texas. HC experience though limited. Mitch Gaspard, current associate HC at KSU, former HC at Alabama and Northwestern State. Had some good years at Bama but resigned under pressure after the 2016 season also did well at Northwestern State is well liked by the current players and would be a seamless transition. Andy Sawyers, current HC at Southeast Missouri State 2nd season, was a Kstate assistant two seperate times, played college ball at Nebraska. Good recruiter. Finished his first season at semo over .500 and his team struggled early but has played well in conference play. Mike Clement, current assistant coach at Ole Miss, assistant at Kstate during big 12 title year that set all kinds of batting records. Never been a HC, was also an assistant at A&M, originally from Texas. Those are the coaches with Kstate ties that will be considered, being that this will be Gene Taylors first hire at Kstate idk how important HC experience or ties to Kstate are to him. I think it is important to get someone who understands the unique challenges that K-State faces in the Big 12 conference. KU and WVU are the only other schools that face similar difficulties in the conference. KU could also be in the market for HC at the end of the season.
Texas will F us up
He's not a troll, 09emaw. He's just not laying in bed with the coach who's 3-18 in conference like you are.

We're going to sweep ku this weekend, then make the Big 12 tournament where we'll lose three games by a combined score of 28-2.
