The Wiki page on kstate baseball is pretty fascinating. We basically didn't even have a program until Hill got here. Clark probably deserves some credit for getting a stadium built, but never won crap. Hill is the only reason anyone even cares

Louisville Baseball pretty much didn't do anything at all until their current coach, and now he's taken them to the CWS twice, plus a super regional.
