It will help not having ridiculous expectations next year. Unless there are people leaving we haven't heard about, we return everyone besides Kivett, DeBord, and Matthys.

Santigate and Moore are graduating. Landon Busch might also be seeking a transfer. Our entire infield regressed, we don't have an established outfield and our pitching staff sucks.

Santigate will be replaceable. I think Yagi will fill in fine at 3rd next year. We will have some pitchers back like Wivinis, Nate Williams, and McFadden who sat out this year with injuries. I think our defense will look something like this:

C: DeVinny
1st: Conlon
2nd: Miles
SS: Fischer
3B: Yagi
DH: Stover
LF: Dalrymple
CF: Brown
RF: Meyer

We have a lot of options for our starting pitching. I would guess MaVorhis, Wivinis, and Griep will be our weekend starters.

TCU is going to host their super regional since national seed Cal Poly lost their regional.because TCU is a national seed.
Texas Tech gets to host their super since Florida didn't win their regional.
Texas will get to host their super if LSU loses to Houston (Cougars are winning 9-2 in the 7th).
Oklahoma St. will get to host their super if Oregon State loses to UC Irvine tonight.

Why didn't the Bat Cats get lucky like that last year?

Matthys is gone. MaVorhis is staying. Heard grumblins about Buschy, but it's been quiet for a while.

Woof at both Miles and Yagi, both were poor fielding and at the plate this season. That outfield is great defensively but won't produce at the plate.

We need some bombers, you guys.

Man. Around this time last year we were watching the bat katz beat WSU by like 500 runs. :frown:

Mitch Meyer has great power and probably the most raw talent of our returning players. Divinni and Stover look like they could mash as well.

Watching Dalrymple and Miles bat hurts my eyes.

DeVinny and Stover can hit and have a lot of potential. DeVinny was on the All Big 12 Freshman team.

Batcats mumped if what I heard today is true...might see the worst Brad'ed of all time!

Stover, DeVinny, Meyer, Busch, Landon, Bee, and some others I couldn't believe how many it sounded like were gone.

Meyer can't leave, or he's out of eligibility. That alone makes me think you don't know what you are talking about.

Daaaaaaaaaaaaamn.  Wait. Was it his choice or Brad's choice? Haven't been keeping up.

Tough to tell. Brown took a lot of PT from both him and Dalrymple last season. I like Mitch. When he is on at the plate, there is no better hitter in our returning lineup (maybe DeVinny) and he is solid in right.
