Brad Hill needs to mush more locals IMO.

Best thing he ever did, except for Bunker, Giller, DeBord, you know, the guys that actually had "talent".

You trying to tell me Fanning can't throw a curveball?
Pitching is more than throwing a curve ball. I had one. It was nice. My out pitch was a fork ball and that was pretty unique coming out of HS. Ksuduece had one of the best curve balls I have ever seen in the high school game.

You're lying, but it's nice of you to say that

Even with the injuries to pitchers, we're probably a bit above average. Time will tell this season. Still a fun team to watch and one with a good future.

I'd love to blame it on the poor weather earlier in the season but losing to Creighton kinda makes that a moot point.   Hope we win the series tomorrow and sweep KU next weekend.

10-0 at home.   :ksu:

3-2 neutral    :)

3-8 away   :runaway:

16-10 overall with 5 losses to top 30 teams.

Last year we were 16-8 in conference.

This year we have started 1-2 in conference (arguably our toughest series).

It can still happen. Ethan Landon looks like he might be perform like Matthys did last year.

What was our noncon record last year?   And OU was picked to finish 5th in a nine team league.   How is that the toughest series?   And OU didn't speak a series win in, they beat our heads in the first two games...   We haven't show anything that suggests we're even  postseason team.   UT, TCU, OSU, etc are going to butt rape us.

I went to a $1 hotdog game last year. The lines were really long and the dogs were gone by the 2nd or 3rd inning.

Statistics  (All games)

Batting Avg.  .305  1st in Big 12
On Base        .406  1st in Big 12
Slugging       .399   3rd in Big 12

The negative side is that our pitching is
giving up .270 batting average (worst in conference)

I am not saying we are going to repeat for sure.  If our defense cuts down on the errors and Landon continues his hot streak we can still make this happen.

Currently the best winning % is held by West Virginia who is 2-0.
OU is 2nd with a 4-2 record.

Ross Kivett and Company will outscore a lot of teams this year. Our pitching was pretty mediocre last year and I still think we can be mediocre again!!!!
