Cats beat Omaha 10-1.
After an embarrasing loss to Omaha last week Cats pick up their 15th win of the season. Cats emptied the bench after taking a 10-1 lead in the bottom of the fourth, everyone seemed to get some playing time and that included the Kstate bullpen who threw 6 different pitchers in one inning of relief each after Caleb Littlejim gave up one run in a three inning start. Bryce Ward technically picked up the win by throwing a scoreless 5th inning. Hudson Treu, Kstate sophmore pitcher that had been out with injury since the first weekend of the season returned to action and threw a scoreless 6th.
Cats schedule gets cranked up a notch for the next month, hopfully they are up for the challenge.
