Georgia O'Keeffe set up headquarters there and drew a whole bunch of vaginas. The rest, as they say, is history.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

I'd rate both Santa Fe and San Francisco in my top 5 food experiences while visiting.

Fine for false report? OK

Fine for "race-based" false report? Probably not OK under First and Fourteenth Amendments.

Why not just make it a fine for making a false report? Wouldn't that subsume race-based false reports?

I'd be pretty surprised if there isn't already a law on the books for a penalty for filling a false report.

I'm sure it can already be prosecuted, yes. The wording sounded more like a civil citation, like a speeding ticket or something (Imagine showing up to contest your racism ticket and being all like, "But is it really racism???"). But I'm not going to attempt to try to understand what they mean, because SF. Apparently they're also talking about diverting police funds to the black community, calling it reparations. That brings up an interesting question: Is the concept of reparations (in the form of redirecting tax revenues on the basis of race) constitutional? On its face, it would seem the answer is "no," though I don't know who would have standing to sue. I don't think taxpayers can generally challenge such things. Perhaps a police officer whose position is eliminated due to budget cuts tied directly to the loss of those funds, if that could be proven? California laws make my brain hurt.

I'm mostly just procrastinating from work, guys...

I mean, I don’t think the point is to prosecute people. It’s to make people stop and think, “eff, is me being a rascist piece of crap going to negatively impact my financial situation? Because that’s NOT COOL!”

the US paid reparations to Japanese who were put in internment camps but I guess you could say it was because they were jailed because of their race and not specifically because they were their race? :dunno:

If I had to guess this is a city supervisor speaking to his constituents and getting his name in the news which bodes well for future aspirations whether or not it passes. Same guy did the vape ban that Juul just gave up fighting and also got SF Juvenile Hall shut down which both got a lot of press as well.

I bet Santa Fe has good food.  Isn't skiing nearby too?

Yeah Santa Fe has it all.  Green chiles.  Ponchos.  Skiing. Turquoise.  What more could you ask for?

this thread is how everyone in San Francisco talks now. Or now they're probably talking in similar ways about how you can WFH now and leave SF. Like all of these clowns have multiple separate lines in their tweets. GAAAH

Thoughts? I mean, eff that guy fr.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.
