Yeah, really a pud move. Mangino did this crap all the time too. I know this cause Tommy (his son) was my catcher.

The ole Blumpster has made a return to goEMAW.  I only come out to support ISU and the chunky porker women that reside in Iowa City.  When you raise pigs and cows your women end up looking like pigs and cows...which is why the ole Blumpster pounds these plumpers in the land of floods.

Welp, back to Craigslist to scout out some more of these blimps in the men seeking women section.  I got a satchel of condoms from Planned Parenthood I'm going to use on these beefy behemoths.

Are you aware of the possibility that we're giving the same amount of effort you're putting in?

For how long this thread is I would say the opposite.

If by 'upping' up my game you mean drilling your chunker of a mom then yes.  Consider my 'game' upped.  She asked me to take her to some restaurant called Hickory Pork, but I said no as she'll be balls deep in my Hickory Pork.

Cocky purple Kansas!

Quote
judging by trying to find any other site in the Big 12 for other teams, Cyclonefanatic is easily the most organized and has the best following

Quote
Is it just me or were none of those posts that cocky at all in the OP? Nobody predicted we would beat KSU by 20 or even that we were likely to beat them, just that we needed a road win, and that some poster wanted a blowout road win.

It's probably just EMAW trolling. They as a group just troll people for fun all the time, more so than any other website I've ever seen other than 4chan. They are the 4chan of sports boards.

Quote
I am glad we don't have that level of immaturity. I understand it's the internet but at least here everyone acts like an adult.

Quote
Don't go to EMAW, so I really don't know what the thread was about, but since it's on their board, how can they be trolling ISU fans, wouldn't ISU fans be the trolls?

Quote
They bait other fans to come to their board where they troll them there. It seems to be working pretty well.

The title says everything to me. You would think it would just be "ISU fans XXXX" but they put the website name in the title of the thread.

Quote
They crack me up. All of the stupidity in one place is hilarious.

If you notice by reading CF or by going to a game you know that these people have a strange fascination with the color purple. They use the term "purple kansas" a lot, they are also fond of mentioning that you are wearing purple when you talk to them, I had this conversation no fewer than 4 times two weeks ago. I asked some locals here what's the deal with ISU fans and the color purple. As it turns out it actually stems from Northern Iowa butthurt  I'm not even joking. Could you imagine making fun of ISUs gold because of Wichita State butthurt? I would probably quit KSU out of embarrassment.

They didn't play UNI this season after UNI beat ISU 5 out of the last 6 years and that one ISU win was in OT :horrorsurprise:        They have a legitimate rivalry with a Missouri Valley school :sdeek:

I guess hating the color purple makes plenty of sense for them.

Good grief GFA.

Does anyone on Cyclone Fanatic get it? That's more embarrassing than anything you pointed out in the first post.

Not sure why they are cocky. They couldn't beat us when we shot a worse pct. from the free throw line than from 3-point range. We can win with or without the three. They're cocky to hide the fact that they are scared.

Interesting.

And these are much more fun to read when your team is firmly looking at a 4/5 seed (minimum).

  right

Their offense reminds me of an afternoon pickup game of 40 years olds at a city park

It is kind of disturbing the hard-on they got for Pawwl Rhoades. Contemplating the awesomness of him coaching the basketball team? Lame. They are infatuated with the guy cause he beat a 5 win Texas team and gave some B.S. speech. Since the last time they finished a season ranked, their bottom feeding breathern ku and baylor have been bcs bowling and won a heisman respectively. Yet they stand pround of a coach with three league wins.

I want them to want more for themselves. It makes us better when they are better, but they are just content to be mediocre.

This thread says all I need to know about ISU fans: http://www.cyclonefanatic.com/forum/mens-basketball/165497-interesting-stats.html

Hey, I think the idea of having their coaches switch sports has some merit.  I mean the basketball team is good at offense already, and the football team is good at defense, so if they switch coaches, they'll each be good at both offense and defense.

The Cyclones are a home court hero. They have only one top 200 win away from home (vs Drake). They'll need to prove they can play away from Hilton.

Wow.  That is pure awesome.  It just doesn't get much more cerebral than that.

It was either on Texas or WVU game and they showed our offensive rankings. Top 4 in everything and a lot of 1s.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

One guy did mention points per possession and got completely ignored.
