K-State Pregame Thread

Quote
I had to do it, because I need Saturday at 5pm to get here...

Need to get a big road win! This would be huge!

Quote
Winning at K State puts ISU in the running to win the Big 12 (I think we can take KU at home and they will lose at least one more...) It's a big game on Saturday and as others have said - Fred will put together a great game plan!

Quote
It'd be great if we could get like a 15+ point win on the road. Two blow out wins over good Big 12 teams would really go a long ways towards getting better then an 8/9 seed in the tourney. I'd so much rather be a 10 seed then 8/9. Even the 6 or 5 seed is pretty difficult.

I hate K-State. I hope we murder them, Ray Lewis style.
I hope they don't allegedly beat them...I hope they actually do it...

Ahhhh-haaaa.....young padawan...you accept my challenge....so the rules....no 4 hour period shall pass without a completed cyclone-power post completion? Acceptable?
Can I complete my own Cyclone Power?
mmmm....can you have secks with yourself? Yes, but it doesn't count...

Quote
Fail horn.mp3....Last Cyclone-power completed at 2:13 AM, it's now 7:30-ish AM. That's more than 4 hours.

Its going to be a long week as a fan, but I think as we saw for the Kansas game it can be very beneficial for Fred to craft up his game plan
Exactly what I was thinking. It's like Fred is designing a scoring play after a giant-long media time out

Quote
It's not personal, purplecats. It's just business. You're on the wrong schedule at the wrong time.

Quote
I like our chances Saturday - seems like the team has been playing better every single game and is starting to peak - last night was the exclamation point on that. Bubu playing has certainly seemed to help Korie from a rest perspective.

If Georges and Melvin can stay out of foul trouble (which may be tough, it is purple Kansas) then that will go a long way toward us getting the road W.

Would LOVE to see us drop them by 10-15.

It should be a fun game, I can only imagine how funny this site will be when you lose.

It's kind of impressive they already have a 4 pg "preview" thread the Tuesday before the game.  Even more impressive is that the closest thing to analytical thought in the thread is "I hope we don't get in foul trouble."  Makes you realize how lucky we are to have hbbiq guys like _Fan, etc.

reading those posts, I assumed they were ranked.  Thinking they weren't, I checked espn.  sure enough, nope, not a ranked team.  never seen such cocky fans for a team barely scratching the top-40.

They aren't cocky, these aren't prophesies they spew they're dreams. They are wide-eyed, pie in the sky dreamers who want what we have.

want what you have? a terrible university, which i must ask, are you a student there or a graduate from there? I know damn well there is nothing really to want out of a school that has never won a Natty championship in anything... pathetic.
