my super awesome perfect vision lasik eyes feel pretty elite

All the better to watch your driveway with so then when neighbor kids are on it you're all get the hell off brats and they're like whoa how the hell did he see us we were only there for a sec and you're all it's rough ridin' lasik you delinquents now scram.

oh man, that's a great idea.  i might get a "lawn chair" and just sit there for hours each evening.

You could start a service watching everyone's driveway in whatever radius your super eagle eye plus plus vision allows.  Will need a bull horn for the verbal admonishmets to the youths involved.  Pretty good way to supplement the old income.  Also your elderly neighbors will love you for being their hero.  Maybe just do an eagle screech into the bull horn as your warning to the driveway kids.  That could be your thing.  Or like another of your things.

Hey guys, Dlew12 here.  Got contact lenses today.  I have kind of small eye openings and it took me prolly an hour to get them in the first time.  It was a pretty miserable experience.  Eyes watering everywhere.

Will it get better or is this whole little project doomed to fail?  Can't spend an hour every morning shoving these damn things in my face.  Some one tell me it's all going to be okay.

Hey Dlew12...hang in there, man. DNR this thread, because I had worn contacts since I was about 11 years old (I'm 25 now) blah blah blah

I'm way behind in this thread, but definitely was not expecting this.
:adios:

Dlew: Day and night contacts are the way to do it.  Want to spend the night at a filly's place and not worry about contacts sucking the next morning, don't worry about it!

contacts take a few tries and then you'll be a machine.  Then in 15 years you'll get sick of dealing with them and just embrace fashionable eyewear.

Boom roasted.  You just told my vision correction history except it didn't take fifteen years.  It took like eleven and change.  Also I didn't get sick of dealing with so much as I got sick of how they ever so slightly irritated my eyes.  I kicked those bitches right to the curb other than the shoot ton of disposeys I have laying around in case I want my eyes to be uncomfortable for a while.  Sexay!

I remember in junior high school I'd have to wake up like super early so I could have time to put them in

IMO, the most important part is learning how to keep your brows wide open while keeping the contact clean and moist. There is probably 4 or 5 techniques for how to do this.

Everyone I know put them in on the side of their eye. I would put them in right on my pupil. Like, stare at my finger the entire time it was coming toward and touching my eye.

Did they make you work up to wearing them all day or did they just let you dive right in?

I wear my contacts most days, but wear glasses once in a while plus on weekends when I'm not really going anywhere to give my eyes a rest.
I don't really need a mirror anymore to put them in but I usually use one.

What are you guys doing to get sand in your contacts? I've never had that issue but I did get a paper cut on my eyeball in 5th grade.

Not really sure how it happened. I woke up and my eye burned, I had a killer headache and was really light sensitive. I took my contacts out and they had sand on/in them. Pain didnt go away, had to go to the ER and I was prescribed gel to put in my eyes for a week. We had a big beach there but it's not like I was throwing sand in my eyes, no idea how that happened while I sleeped.
