this thread is as good as anywhere to drop a job idea i came up with
the gist of it is that you're a lawyer. but not just a defendant attorney, you're also a plaintiff attorney. that's the rub. you take on a case as attorney for the plaintiff, and then get hired as the defendant's attorney in the same case.
never agree to meet everyone in person. so do all pre-trial stuff via conference calls or meet with each of your clients separately.
then, day one of the trial, guess what? boom. you walk into the courtroom and obviously everyone in the court's jaw drops (including the hot lady doing the typing thing) and you basically just grab the gavel and hit it down and say, let's do this.
regardless of who wins the case, you always win.
