Living like that works better in some states than others. Here in vermont, yeah, you can live quite well without ever working. It's really sickning, especially as a person who defends the concept of social services in general. It's honestly bad enough that we're going to move.

So you are saying a leading cause of abortions is a lack of parents interested in adopting children? I find that very hard to believe.

I don't think I have ever heard the storyline: "I wanted to give the baby up for adoption, but they said there were no families interested, so I got an abortion."

Also it was a black man who suggested the separate but equal gay marriage license office...although he is African so he hasn't necessarily had the same experience as a black man who grew up in the USA and had parents who were around during segregation.
