Tbf, political persuasion probably isn’t a huge factor in this. Gen Z is sadly rife w mental illness, especially women. Jonathan Haidt latest book is a pretty great look into the phenomenon. He was on to a lot of the troubles we’re seeing early. I recommend all of his books.

Since this is a serious post, I don't know that Gen z is all that special. They are far more open about these things and more willing to seek out professionals. Same with millennial women. Men and boomers have the same struggles but come from a culture stigmatizing these things.

Boomer dax is a fine example.
