I've never heard of/been to Anthony, KS. I don't think I've been anywhere in that part of Kansas between I-35 and the Colorado border. Meade seems like really far away from NE KS (the part where the people are).

this was written about a different congressperson abusing the time and goodwill of an expert witness, but it applies to her just as well.

Roy was clearly more rude and cantankerous but both were clear cases of grandstanding and both were hugely and unnecessarily disparaging to people volunteering their time and expertise to go to Congress.

In a lot of ways, what Porter did was worse. What she did was highly calculated and she should know better. Chip Roy is a case of the dog pissing on the carpet, again.
