They only laid 1 mile of pipeline, in the two years since Trump granted the permit. I'm finding a hard time mustering up the sympathy to feel bad for someone blaming the president. That's some world class inefficiency. If he's used to being laid off, being laid off after laying one mile of pipe in two years can't be the least bit surprising.

The second one was an actual quote from a guy who was building a pump station for it in Oklahoma. The first one doesn't have a name behind it and was almost certainly a made up quote that people are passing around on facebook. Regardless, construction jobs come and go all the time, and any job or layoff is going to be temporary.
