these are my hate fuel

Quote
Father God, today I pray that we put all our trust in you! No matter the outcome Lord I pray that it is your will be done. You have already gone before and prepared the way.
I pray that everyone who votes went to you as their source and no one else! I pray that all the lies and false information falls on deaf ears. I pray that you guide us to the truth!
I pray that today you bring hope to any chaos that might arise and help spread love to where there is hurting.
Father I pray protection over our country! I pray that you wrap your almighty hands around everyone and remind them to be kind and love one another.
Father God, I love you, I honor you and in God I trust!
#godisyoursource #thewordisthetruth #ingodwetrust #godalmighty #godisonthemove #vote2020 #bekind #loveoneanother #bealight #soreadjoy #1john410 #prayfirst #godswill
These get under my skin if they’re basically coded messages that people shouldn’t bother voting, but what’s your issue with this one?

you know that one's actually not that bad when I read it closely although the first line is kind of "god is president"-y. Also using God as a source for voting info instead of like voter guides is bad.

all from the same person

Quote
ABOVE ALL, PUT ON LOVE

"And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."
Colossians 3:14-17

Quote
“Just ignore her, she’s a leftist.”
“Never mind what she has to say, she’s on the Trump train.”
“That lady? She’s lost her mind, she’s voting for Biden.”
“Oh her? Lord help her, she’s a Republican.”
I remember a time not so long ago, before the malicious hidden software of social media decided it would be neat to do an experiment on society, one in which we all just simply became WHO we vote for, and not who we actually ARE.
Remember those times?  Instead, it’s as if now our entire livelihood has been carved down to the person we choose to vote for.
We currently speak of each other in terms of political parties, and not in terms of the parts of humanity that unite us, and although you wouldn’t know it by the divisive rhetoric you're spoon-fed daily courtesy of algorithms, we are much more united than we think.
That friend of yours on the Trump train?
She is also the teacher’s aid who tied your kid’s school for an entire year.
She is the certified nursing assistant who changed your elderly parent’s diaper.
She is the attorney who fought hard for you in court, helping you secure child support.
She is the grocery cashier who smiles brightly at you even when you barely notice her existence.
She is the radiologist who found your breast cancer.
That liberal who has is knocking on doors for Biden?
She is the accountant who found your company’s tax error and saved your job.
She is the guidance counselor who reached out to you because she noticed changes in your teen.
She is the banker who approved your small business loan.
She is the coffee shop worker who always knows your order.
She is your elderly parent's Instacart shopper, keeping them safe at home.
Those women on the left?
And the women on the right?
We are moms, wives, sisters, aunts, cousins, CEOs, and stay at home moms. We are best girlfriends for decades, and new friends we’ve just met.
We are married to men, married to women, divorced, widowed, single, and everything in between.
But what we are NOT, is ONE VOTE.
We are NOT merely made of political policy opinions, but of love, heartache, joy, happiness, fear, and a million other human experiences that we all have in common.
And it’s all those HUMAN things that unite us, and will continue to unite us (if we let them), long after November 3.
Don't let social media take away our humanity. Please. Don't.
(That’s about as political as I will ever get on this page. You’re welcome.)

Why do you even concern yourself with such things?
