I absolutely hate huge windows in bball arenas. The dark dungeon vibe is great

It sucks when sun is shining on an arena's bball court. Was thinking about this when watching KU yesterday.
don't do windows in the south, east, and west sides.

Didn't KU try covering the windows a few years ago? Maybe not, or maybe the experiment failed.

Would you like windows in a movie theater?

your analogy is stupid.  there isn't light in a movie theater because it creates a glare on a flat screen, that also has the movie being projected upon it.

i agree sunlight on the court sucks, but windows on the north side of the OOD wouldn't have sunlight anyway because the sun is always in the southern sky in the winter. And anyhow, i'm sure there are other ways architecture types could figure out a way to minimize sunlight on the court.

because, dumbass, as he explained, it's possible to have windows in an arena without worrying about sunlight on the court.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

My high school had like one window in the whole building.  It was in the library.

So you want the OOD to be like your high school library?  The non-con was library enough.

If you're adding windows to the bram add them to the concourse areas not the arena. Concourse needs to be redone to be elite. on the inside extend the open air loge box things all around. Then move the roof up adding seating above and making the concourse two levels. The sides need 8 to 12 rows of "club level" seating with luxury boxes behind them, and on the ends you add 12 to 20 rows of of seating.

I hate the idea of taking any seats from students. I have no problem with more lodge seating from the west side. Hell the high level donors don't even like to sit down that far anyway.
