So now we have a rough ridin' sonic logo on the court?  :curse:
That's who's sponsoring the SEC/Big XII showdown. Thank God it's not permanent.

Since we don't have any basketball to talk about.

Figured I would bring up that I had lunch with someone I consider pretty ITK over the weekend, he hinted at Bramlage getting a new roof in the near future. I didn't really ask much else and maybe he's full of crap. But anyway, think they'll simply replace the roof or do something different?

They'd never do that, but god, I'd love the crap out of a Bram-Ahearn octobaby. Maybe if they do all in with redoing a lot of Bramlage in addition to the SEZ. But the new roof is probably just a typical maintenance work job.

I would imagine the new roof would in conjunction with whatever they're doing facing the football stadium.  I didn't think it was a big secret but I thought the plan was to extend and update the Legends room to be used for parties with football games.  That would cover the walkway around the stadium and provide some permanent concessions.

It's just getting a new roof.  ADJC has already said the price tag is like 3 or 4 million or close to that as I recall.   The only substantial thing planned for Bramlage is the South side in conjunction with the football stadium.

They remodeled the game day dressing rooms this past summer on the lower level.  I personally don't want to see a dime spent on anything else in Bramlage that's exclusively for bball until bball is better.   They've already had $25 plus million dollars spent on them in the last 4 years and at least part of the South end zone will benefit basketball with what will likely be a much bigger and nicer Legends Room.

This is totally ridiculous. In a good way. I'd go watch a dogshit K-State team just to sit in there.

That ole thing has been floating around since like 2010. Can't remember who made it, but could only find the post from Blackcats with it in this thread.

I hope we never put windows in the octagon. If we ever get angry again it will be much less doomy with windows.

They should paint flames and dollar signs on the roof as part of the replacement, maybe a dragon too.

Base the dragon off of Siebrandt's tattoo.

Would it be a dragon shooting a hook shot in that case?

It will be a dragon missing a hook shot.

This looks exactly like pretty much any large generic church. I guess what I'm saying is it could be cool if you turn it into a theme but otherwise completely bland architecture IMO.

i agree, Luke.

Windows are great in arenas/fieldhouses. Use curtains or window blind type deals during the few day games to keep it doomy.
