maybe combine all 4 bram screens together into one mega screen and put that over at the Toint.

or just pull it down as is and put in on that truck thing like someone brainstormed earlier
its been all but confirmed that the toint is getting one of the vb's from bsfs

Why in the world would the new daktronics deal not also include a new board for TFS?
no idea. when we did our "tour" of the WSC it was discussed that the south board coming down would be great for the baseball stadium. maybe they planned something with two boards one for replay one for stats. it was back in august so obviously things could have changed

That video board is 18 years old

oh man, OOD improvements would be great.  new techy stuff would be quick, cheap upgrade.  But, to really get serious, they need to overhaul the concourses/concessions/restrooms/etc.

Don't see the big stuff coming for another 5-10 years.  BSFS is our golden goose.

The boards in BSFS, both North and South were installed in 2005.   Both were HD Ready LED Boards.

Oops, we mumped up the stain, but let's not fix it:
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

I like the darker stain better than the lighter stain. The lighter stain is too yellow. JMHO.

Yeah or just make the middle color just slightly darker. People are just freaked out by the contrast.

I like the dark stain. I think it looks more big-timey-ish.

The darker one is far more baller and intense looking.  The top one is where crap is light and taught.  The bottom one is where booing occurs and where hate and discontent rain down on fools.

Scoreboard mos def sucks, but at the same time, as a national brand, we have to also consider what the court looks like on TV.
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

I've never seen any negative comments besides those from K-State fans. :dunno:

i dont get any bad feelings looking at the court.

it will be fine for the 5 years or so until the court gets refinshed with a baseline to baseline kstate0 poster decal

clawmarks gashing across the court and beneath those clawmarks a base of limestone.  Also nozzles at the 4 corners of the court that spew fire when we hit a 3.

part of the problem is our lights - which are not very bright compared to some places.  Helps the doomish atmosphere, but also makes court look bit darker than it probably would be otherwise.

They used to be brighter over the crowd. Darkening the lights was a great move for the OOD. JMHO.

Ever since watching a few of the Bahamas bball tourney games this year, I've thought it would be cool to have purple lights on everywhere but the court, and bright lighting right on the court. Seems very DOOM to me.

Just shine purple lights on fans not in purple. What's that, this guy thought he could come to the game in a white ISU shirt? eff him, he looks like a K-Stater now.
