New scoreboard/video board? I'd rather get a new sound system, but that sounds good too.

:Woohoo:

When one person, for whatever reason, has a chance to lead an exceptional life, he has no right to keep it to himself.

i'd rather they turn down the announcer guy because he's too loud and sounds ridiculous.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

So what's the plan on fixing the court, 'cause it's still the ugliest thing about the fOOD, and ironically, one of the cheapest/easiest thing to fix.

New video board would be neat, I guess, but I don't really care. I'd rather spend our money on football facilities. Just fix the damned court! :shakesfist:
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

This, the small, standard definition screens are terrible.

The problem with the floor is that it is boss and looks great.

Except for looking like crap on TV (a little less so in person), I agree the court is fine. I mean, it seems to be relatively  flat, the right dimensions, etc.

I think back during the brief Huggy era, somebody posted some awesome proposed court designs. Never came to fruition. The varnish inside the perimeter looks horrible.

The varnish was supposed to be lighter (still darker than the mid court though), but when they got the court back what was done was done.

The stain inside the perimeter is the only remote problem I have with it, and that doesn't even bother me anymore.

I'm in favor of the new video scoreboard. If we are going to kick ass with oscar, atleast give us cool stuff since we do not have a cool coach.

It's subtle, but I appreciate the purple octagon around the perimeter. Don't really care either way about the dark stain.

I like the borders, too. Actually, I like most everything about the court except for the dark stain inside the perimeters, but that's a pretty big chunk of the court and it looks terrible.

I don't give a damn about replacing the floor unless they do the octawood.  Would just really love to have a court that any observer could look at for a glance and know it's ours.

maybe combine all 4 bram screens together into one mega screen and put that over at the Toint.

or just pull it down as is and put in on that truck thing like someone brainstormed earlier

Why in the world would the new daktronics deal not also include a new board for TFS?

i think "all but confirmed" in this case means brainstormed as above.

no idea. when we did our "tour" of the WSC it was discussed that the south board coming down would be great for the baseball stadium. maybe they planned something with two boards one for replay one for stats. it was back in august so obviously things could have changed
