Well I guess this is where we will differ because I think it is a big deal when a coach doesn't know which qb is in the game making plays when he is platooning them, bigger when he doesn't know 2-3 hours later. I'm guessing that 99% of college football fans would have an issue with the same thing, doesn't make you wrong, opinions aren't wrong, just curious.
I suspect Snyder knew who the quarterback was at the time the play happened. Then, over the next two hours he got it mixed up. For the record, Sams threw a similar pass against ULL.
It wouldn't be a big deal most seasons, but we've been going through 3 weeks of wondering what on earth Snyder is thinking when every piece of information shows that Sams should be the man, and he caps it off with not knowing who was in the game. In light of qustions about his QB decision-making (or his not being the decider), him not knowing who's who definitely falls in a noteworthy spectrum somewhere between funny and outrageous.
Don't get me wrong. I'm wondering what the hell Snyder is doing screwing around with Waters too. I just don't think that moment with Wyatt was significant.
It's not an easy mistake to make, tho. I can't imagine anyone else in the world made it.
My dad made it last night.

When I corrected him, he said "oh yeah, Sams made the throw last week against Lafayette."
