Kevin Lockett is absolutely demanding Daniel start and play the entire game right now on Powercat Gameday. He was hoping it would be Daniel last week before the game as well. I doubt he has any type of inside information from practice tho.

I am very interested in tearing Waters down. I mean he lost to a Division II school.

Yep.

I saw some earlier posts suggesting that it would be unlike Snyder to give the "decision" to start Waters to others....that does seem a tiny bit strange....but then there is this...

Quote
Daniel Sams didn't win Kansas State's quarterback derby, but he scored a touchdown on his first touch of 2013 and had LHC LHC Bill Snyder promising him a bigger role in the Wildcats' offense, with Jake Waters remaining the starting QB. After that 18-yard touchdown, Snyder threw his headset down and ended up cutting his hand. Why?

"Because we hadn't put him in before," he said.

THAT is the THE most out of character thing I have ever seen from Snyder, apart from his retirement.  I mean, the rough ridin' master of self control and careful thought blows up at the idea that they hadn't put him in before???????  Has he EVER been demonstrative about his OWN eff up before????

Never.

He's pissed at someone else.  Call it Sean, call it Dimel, call it Miller....it's one or all of them.

IMO, Snyder is pissed that he trusted those fuckers against his better judgment....he's trying to groom one or more of those fucks to take over (read: SEAN), and it back fired and he was humiliated on national television.

THAT is why we have the unprecedented move of Snyder letting a MOTHER rough ridin' "BACKUP" QUARTERBACK TALK TO EVERY SWINGING MEDIA DICK IN SIGHT.

False.

He said it, but as a deadpan. Come on. Snyder is going to Snyder, how could you be so dumb?  Step away from the #life kool aide.

Yep.  Lockett is basically being a complete stud on the radio right now in every way.
Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

Always finds someone open and is accurate as hell.  Sams is great, but not hard to see why Waters is the starter.

Leave it to Kim Carnes to have a brilliant post.......  :blah:

She/he is probably blaming Waters cause we had to settle for a FG at the beginning cause our stud WR Locket let it bounce of his shoulder pads......Also blaming Waters for the one that went through Miller hands and doinked off his face mask for an int.......

It's still Waters' fault cause we can't run up the middle worth a crap......oh, wait, that could be Huberts fault (which he does suck)....

0 TDs 2 INTs against a sunbelt team.  That is the definition of stud.

how does a team score 48 points in a game with the starting qb not throwing a td pass. Has that ever happened?

Waters single handedly derailed 2 drives with 3 horrible passes.  Sams sparks the offense, proves he can pass.  Up until then, without defensive TD and Special Teams excellence(returning, at least) we lose the game due to Jake.  Stop making excuses for him.  I admit Torell's drop was horrible too, but he wasn't good at all in the second half and failed to score TDs at all besides a 1 yarder gimme set up by special teams, I like Jake, but I think Sams gets more opportunities until he is inevitably the starter.
