Sams could of ran zone read every down and beat NDSU but we would of had to open the play book to for Waters and he still would of needed to be better on 3rd down
Don't make the slow eff run, and we'll be fine.

The slow eff? Is that kind of like the long con?

You have nothing to apologize for. So you think we beat Baylor with Josh starting? My recollection of that game isn't perfectly clear. I think he passed it well when he came in to start the 2nd half but we couldn't run at all so we kept getting bogged down and lost a relatively close scoring game??? No way we beat Louisville with Freeman.
Checking the box score, it appears our entire offense was atrocious throughout the entire game.

Quote
Kansas State (fizz-2, 0-1) lost its sixth straight Big fizz opener, and first road game for new coach Ron Prince -- who switched quarterbacks after halftime and plans to stick with freshman Josh Freeman "for the foreseeable future." The Wildcats play Oklahoma State at home next week.

"We're not looking back," Prince said. "I felt Josh gave us the best chance to move the ball. ... I'm not looking for a silver lining."

Freeman, who graduated high school early and went through spring drills, was 11-of-33 for 196 yards with fizz interceptions. He was fizz-of-14 in limited action the first four games.

Dylan Meier regained his starting job in the spring and preseason camp after missing last season with a shoulder injury. But the senior has completed only half his passes this year, including 11 of 22 for 100 yards against Baylor.

Leon and Tommy Guns combined for 45 yards on 21 carries.  fizz-19 on third down.

I remember being mad at somebody (Moreira?) for dropping what Wyatt implied was a for sure long touchdown pass. FOR SURE.
"How will I recruit to Manhattan? Well, distance. And the proud state of basketball. It start there, and then daily flights to Dallas, because I'm really good at going out. Like top five good. Ask my wife. She wants me to be happy."

Wow, I shouldn't be surprised by this but Kevin Kietzman is driving the Team Waters bus enthusiastically and is running #life the eff over. I am listening to a podcast of his monologue and his review of the Big 12 conference call.

"This thing can only work with one guy."
"This Sams kid will never throw lime Waters so they need to TEACH WATERS TO RUN! Sams sees field as a runner better they need  to teach Waters the reads."

Maybe if they remove those 200 pound lead boots he will magically become faster?

Yeah, heard that BITB crap yesterday.  He is def head tuck these days.

I think it is hilarious that he thinks it easier to teach a slow kid, that obviously hates contact, to run well in the big12 than it is to teach a very athletic kid, who isn't a horrible passer to start, how to pass better.

Most likely explained by KK being jaded ever since Skeetbag told him Sams stole his replacement bike.

Been discussing the difference btwn two diff types of QB skills and two diff types of QBs that both have extremely different sets of skills, both being QB skills.

Obviously not or he would be playing more at QB.

Are Sams' game stats too small of a sample too?  Are we only getting the best out of him and all the rest would be what drags his avg down?

better keep playing him in front of Sams, just to make 100%, dead bolt lock sure that he's not so great at running our offense.

There might be some advantages to being able to throw the ball, too.  Not sure.

There might be some advantagse to being able to run the ball, too.  Pretty sure.  In fact, Snyder's made a career out of proving that running the ball is more important than passing the ball.  Last year was a nice example.

Pop Quiz.  Texas gave up a bazillion rushing yards against BYU.  Which QB will be more effective against UT??

That's not a fair statement because of the garbage that was battling those two.  Waters is a damn good QB.
